Where do we meet?
North Fife Inner Wheel is part of Inner Wheel District 1, and we meet at the Drumoig Hotel, Forgan Drive, Drumoig, Fife KY16 0DS. Meetings are held at 6.15pm on the first Tuesday of each month. No formal meetings are held in July & August but coffee mornings, fundraising and social events continue throughout the year.
Our Club
North Fife was chartered in 1981 and celebrated its 40th Anniversary in 2021. We currently have 22 members. As well as the monthly meetings members enjoy coffee mornings knitting, regular walks and outings as well as fundraising for local and international projects.
Our Area
Our club covers a number of villages, including Balmerino, Gauldry, Wormit, Newport-on-Tay, Tayport and Balmullo. They lie south of the River Tay, with amazing views of the 2 bridges crossing the Tay to the north, Tentsmuir Forest and beach to the east and prime agricultural land stretching to the south. We are lucky to have part of the Fife Coastal Path passing through the area, which is popular with walkers. Of course, this area is a mecca for golfers due to the proximity of St Andrews Links and having Scotscraig the 13th oldest Golf Club in the world right on our doorstep.

District Chairman Jean Club visit
DC Jean was accompanied by Moira Adam from her own club to North Fife Club. They managed to get to Drumoig Hotel with minutes to spare the weather was so poor and busy traffic. Alison Stewart (pictured with Jean above) chaired the meeting in her capacity as Vice Chairman. The speaker was Frances Durward, Newport and Wormit in Bloom Group. Jean was delighted to give some insights into Inner Wheel and everthing including projects and themes in Association and International Inner Wheel. RNLI is the DC’s charity this year.
Great Publicity
As part of Inner Wheel’s centenary year, the club planted 100 bulbs in each of the 6 villages and towns where our members live for the Inner Wheel centenary. A double winner when we got great publicity in the Fife Edition of The Courier – our article appearted on the front page! Well done girls!
